Residential Building Manager – Galbraith House & Lansdowne Park Job Overview
As our company continues to expand its residential property portfolio, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Building Manager to oversee Galbraith House Ave NW) and Lansdowne Park St NW).

As the Building Manager for Galbraith House and Lansdowne Park, you will play a critical role in fostering positive tenant relationships, overseeing daily building operations, and ensuring the overall success and performance of both properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day operations of both residential properties, including leasing, rent collection, and tenant relations
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and maintenance standards
- Respond to tenant inquiries, complaints, and service requests promptly and professionally
- Coordinate and supervise repairs and maintenance, working closely with vendors, contractors, and internal maintenance staff
- Maintain accurate documentation of leases, rent payments, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Utilize property management software (such as Yardi) for data entry, reporting, and operational analysis
- Market and advertise available units using a variety of channels
- Conduct tenant screenings, including background and reference checks
- Prepare and execute lease agreements while ensuring strict adherence to lease terms
- Assist with budgeting processes and contribute to financial reporting for the assigned properties
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in residential property management or a closely related field
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi) is considered an asset
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
