Position Summary...

Under the general guidance and direction of the Privacy Officer, Access to Information Manager plays a crucial role in the access to information, privacy, and records management mandate to ensure the organization's overall compliance with the applicable privacy and access to information legislation.

Overall, Access to Information Manager plays an integral role in supporting the development implementation, administration and management of access to information, and the protection of privacy and is responsible for analyzing, processing and responding to privacy complaints and access to information requests.

What you'll do...

Manage the CA Privacy inbox; promptly analyze, process, and respond to privacy complaints and information access requests.
Gain enhanced visibility into where personal information resides and know which business processes touch the data in the request; autoassign tasks to system and business owners based on request type, persona, jurisdiction, and brand to streamline request processing; oversee and monitor the inactive and deactivated account cleanup, account deletion/deactivation and the former employee record deidentification process.
Lead, support, and participate in departmental onboarding of best practices regarding access to information and consent management; lead development of and rollout of relevant training and awareness content.
Oversee the centralized consent records tool, document, and update relevant business rules and procedures; verify accuracy and adequacy of consent records on a periodic basis; liaise with the solution owner/vendor re solution improvements and updates; conduct periodic cookie and other online tracking technology audits.
Other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

1 to 3 years of experience in privacy required
University Degree is required
Background in Law, Records Management, Library Sciences, Office Administration, Business Administration or related discipline
CIPP/C and/or CRM certification and/or eligibility for and willingness to obtain the CIPP/C and/or Certified Records Manager (CRM) Designation from the Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM)
Familiarity with OneTrust modules would be of value.
