How you will make an impact:


Key responsibilities include:


  • Oversee a current staff of 1 (potential for another in short term) performing segmentation and comp reporting
  • Update monthly reporting suite, including P&Ls for core business and new businesses and prepare Executive presentations.
  • Provide commentary related to key variances to forecast, budget, and prior year
  • Provide insights into sales trending, units performance, and market share
  • Lead the Annual Budget process, compiling inputs from various team members and business leaders in Sales and Marketing
  • Present Results, Forecasts, and Budgets to senior leadership team
  • Oversee Financial segmentation which is responsible for Clinic Level performance and valueadded business performance reporting
  • Oversee variable compensation plans and establish/implement plans
  • Prepare and coordinate ad hoc analysis on various business objectives
  • Acquisition support
  • Perform Due Diligence on potential acquisition targets
  • Perform Valuation analysis and prepare a onepager on potential targets
  • Assist acquisition team on financial and tax related question.
  • Review closing statement, tax returns and back up schedules from vendor.
  • Prepare closing statement if required by share purchase agreement.
  • Prepare and agree with vendor on working capital adjustment.
  • Record acquisition per IFRS in collaboration with Accounting Team
  • Assume responsibility of financial statements gathering (collaboration with acquired entities), compliance, remittances, and up to integration.
  • Maintain post acquisition scorecard to ensure we are realizing the expected performance of the clinic. Proactively identify areas of slippage and opportunity specifically related to acquisitions & green field investments
  • Assist on gather info for year end audit & tax return.

What you will need

  • University Degree in Business or Finance
  • 5+ years progressive FP&A & Accounting experience with experience with more complex accounting functions
  • CPA Designation preferred or MBA
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Knowledge of Navision, Blueprint, Access, and other extraction//automation tools an asset. Knowledge of BI Application, SQL, Dealing with Data and automation an asset
  • Strong communication & problem solving skills
