Salary: 19.75

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cut oversized metal using an acetylene torch
Working outside the yard at all times
Agility to climb in and around all shapes and sizes of metal for torching safely
Sorting, picking, and processing metal pieces
Assist in ensuring the equipment used is maintained during the normal course of performing the job
Recognize operational problems and report them to the supervisor or health and safety
Operate equipment while adhering to all safe work practices and procedures (skid steer, acetylene cutting torch, forklift)
Assist in other yard work and warehouse duties when the need arises
Cleaning your work area and equipment at the end of your shift
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:

Knowledge of torching equipment an asset
Working knowledge of safety standards
Good oral English communication abilities
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and on occasion above lbs with use of mechanical aid or help from coworkers
Able to work professionally, respectfully with a positive attitude and a high level of personal integrity at all times in a fastpaced working environment
Strong work ethic and ability to complete work in a timely manner
Must be able to work with little supervision; must be selfdirected
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
