Description
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to- Special test collection and related documentation, pediatric and difficult draws. Preparation of specimens for transport and testing as well as maintaining stock of lab kits and clinic supplies, IV Monitoring
- Greeting, checking in and gathering of patient information, lab draws, booking testing, and creating flow charts to ensure patient results are both reviewed and attached to patient files.
- Maintain client communication regarding follow ups, testing, yearly check ups and requests
- Create and maintain relationships with vendors of medical and office supplies
- Other patient testing that may occur as part of visits
Applicants should possess
- Graduate from lab assistant program or equivalent, with 3 years experience in phlebotomy
- Experience with EMR
- Extensive attention to detail
- high degree of organizational skills
- critical thinking and exceptional communication skills
- Passion for client care and customer service
- Understanding guidelines/legislation/regulations with regards to duties performed
Job Types:

Salary:
$18.00-$35.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Patients wear masked and are screened on entry. Staff is masked and protective eye wear. Sanitizing is done hourly or after every visit.
