Description
Sweeping and mopping the arena restrooms, change rooms (24), shower areas, lobby, meeting rooms, bleachers, field surface- Removing trash at the end of shifts
- Light changing
- Cleaning rink and field glass
- Enforce rules and regulations of recreational facilities in order to maintain discipline and ensure safety.
- Operate scoreboards on 2 ice and 2 field surfaces.
- Making sure all entrances are clear and safe of debris and snow.
- Grooming and maintenance of 2 turf fields.
- Assisting facility operator with ice maintenance of 2 ice pads (edging, scraping ice preparation)
- Participate in keeping all areas of the facility neat, clean, and safe at all times. These
- Assist the Facility Operator and Shift Manager with closing duties.
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- Available evenings and weekends
- G2 or G preferred
- Able to lift 4050lbs
- Able to work as late as midnight during the week and on weekends
- Team player and good communicator
- COVID19 vaccinated
Salary and Additional Information
- Parttime hours
- Monday-Friday evenings and Sat & Sun fullday options
- Located at Wentworth Arenas (1249 Wilson St E, Hamilton)
- Locations are easily accessible by public transit
