Huer Foods Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team.

This role is perfect for an individual who is detail-oriented, well-organized, and motivated to excel in a fast-paced environment where the execution of their work is crucial to the success of the team.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks:

Ensure timely collections of accounts receivable.
Set up new accounts in the ERP system, conduct credit reference checks, and establish terms within profiles.
Prepare daily deposits.
Record customer payments in the ERP system.
Lead weekly receivables meetings with the controller.
Verify customer deductions and rebates, investigating as necessary and coordinating with Sales Representatives for confirmation.
Maintain customer rebates in the ERP system and track customer deductions using spreadsheets.
Crosstrain with Accounts Payable and the Order Desk for vacation coverage and additional support when needed.
Assist with reception coverage.
Support other projects as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

12 years of prior experience in accounts receivable/accounts payable or related accounting roles preferred.
Ability to work independently with mínimal direction.
Enthusiastic and approachable demeanor.
Exceptional administrative, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong team collaboration skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Diploma in Business Administration considered an asset.
Initiative and aptitude for process improvement valued.
