Founded in 1906, MG&CC is a year-round private club that offers golf, curling and tennis, dining, fitness and social amenities.

Our Tudor Clubhouse is a spectacular venue for casual and fine dining, banquets, weddings and various social events and functions.

Position Summary
Mississaugua Golf and Country Club is seeking a Clubhouse Cleaner Supervisor to join our maintenance department.

The Clubhouse Cleaner Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness of all areas of the Clubhouse, including dining areas, offices, washrooms, locker rooms and external facilities (range hut, tennis house, halfway house) and coordinating with the team to maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

Perform tasks in a professional, responsive, and friendly manner.
Delegate and coordinate the team's daily tasks, and or areas of the facility to ensure thorough cleanliness.
Regularly inspect areas and facilities to ensure standards are met.
Supervise and train the housekeeping staff to ensure exceptional and consistency of service.
Maintain and ensure sufficient inventory of supplies for the team.
Ensure all floor surfaces are impeccable, by vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping.
Perform regular dusting, cleaning of windows and surfaces, emptying garbage, and stocking washroom items & amenities.
Coordinate and assist with setting up rooms for events and functions.
Establish a biweekly schedule for the housekeeping team within the given budget.
Advise and update the Facilities Manager on team schedules, absences, and changes.
Perform basic building maintenance and repairs, including changing light bulbs, painting, etc.
Work in a safe and productive manner.
Support the Facilities Manager as needed.

Requirements:

Previous cleaning experience in a highend, professional environment
Experience with managing, communicating and motivating teams.
Ability to operate various cleaning equipment and tools.
Knowledge of computer skills an asset.
Experience performing basic building maintenance and repairs is an asset.
Pleasant, respectful, and professional when communicating with others.
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
Service oriented courteous and friendly
Commitment to teamwork and cooperation
Strong work ethic hard working, reliable, positive attitude
Work in an efficient manner while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Available to work a flexible schedule, including morning and afternoon hours on weekdays and weekends.
