QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN
Pioneer Construction is looking for hard-working, self-motivated employees with a proven record of safety and reliability to fill the position of Quality Control Technician in Kenora, Ontario.
This is a full-time seasonal position available with competitive wages and benefit packages, as well as ongoing training and room for growth and advancement.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use inspection, measuring and test equipment.
- Perform a range of varied inspection and sampling tasks.
- Read and follow written and verbal work instructions.
- Identify problems and questions and reporting them to appropriate supervisor.
- Display professionalism toward our company and customers.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Willing to travel to job sites with overnight stays when required.
- Abide by all company policies including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental, Human Resources Policies.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Valid G License
- Experience in the construction industry is an asset
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent time management skills and demonstrate ability to prioritize tasks based on relative importance and urgency.
- Experience working in Quality Assurance / Quality Control is an asset
- Lift up to 25 kgs repetitively.
- Walk, stand, and/or sit for an entire shift.
- Ability to adapt to last minute changes as dictated by the needs of our business
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
