Support on client project tasks which fall within iLUKA's business development function.
Create industry and company-specific research briefs to help inform prospecting decisions.
Grow and maintain proficiency in the global sports marketing industry - monitoring/tracking trends, events, partnerships and industry news.
Act as the administrator in meetings as required, taking notes and communicating follow-up items with and for attendees. Support with the BD function's administrative tasks, including project budget tracking and client invoicing.

Education & Experience

University degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Sports Business, Hospitality or related field.
2 + years of experience in sales, sponsorship, hospitality and/or sports marketing.
Experience working within an agency, a sport property, and/or for a major brand is preferred.
Passion for - and an understanding of - the global sports environment is required.

Skills, Knowledge & Aptitudes

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential - natural ability to write, craft narratives, and convey complex concepts.
High level of proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint. Strong presentation skills with budgeting experience an asset.
Understanding of core sports marketing concepts - activating sponsorships, partnership assets, global event hospitality landscape etc.
Strong time management skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.

A natural affinity for building strong relationships; able to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with various internal and external colleagues and stakeholders.

Self-starter with the ability to work effectively both within a team environment and unsupervised.
Highly motivated to learn, to support our colleagues, and to work hard.
Strong balance between attention to detail and seeing the bigger picture.

Curiosity for and desire to learn more about the business of sport, and about how partnerships/sponsorships can impact business results for our clients.

Willingness to travel internationally up to 25% in non-event periods, and to be onsite full-time during events.
