National Account Manager, Western Canada (Consumer Goods, Remote)
Our client, a rapidly growing
Consumer Goods -
Confectionery & Snacking company, is looking to hire a
National Account Manager to join their team on a
Permanent, Full-time basis.
The National Account Manager will ideally live in the
Greater Vancouver Area, or
Calgary and will be responsible for managing a number of Regional accounts including; Save-On Foods, London Drugs, Sobey's, Federated Co-op, Loblaws (Westfair), Circle K (Calgary), 711, Husky, Shell,.
remote, home-office role, with the company's head office located in Mississauga, ON.
Reporting into the Director of Sales & Strategic Planning, the National Account Manager will be responsible for delivering growth, profit, market share, and revenue targets at with assigned accounts via a strong fact-based analytical sales approach.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop strategic plans with your customers and deliver quick resolution to issues, while identifying and capturing opportunities
- Develop processes and strategies to optimize the resources and results with National and Regional customers
- Use systems, technologies & standard methodologies to streamline and optimize reporting and sales processes
- Use indepth analysis to provide feedback on monthly, quarterly forecasts with accuracy
- Cross collaborates with internal teams to maximize efficiencies
- Assist with planogram, pricing, promotional and category management activities as the need arises
- Support the development of ecommerce programs within National and Regional Accounts
- Develop and refine strategic selling skills, building towards future responsibility growth within large National Accounts
EDUCATION:
- Post-Secondary Education, with preference to a business degree
REQUIREMENTS:
- 710 years of National Account Management for consumer goods
- Experience selling into Western retailers including; Save-On Foods, London Drugs, Sobey's, Federated Coop, Loblaws (Westfair), Circle K (Calgary), 711, Husky, and Shell,
- Proven success developing, presenting, and implementing business plans
- Proven success directly managing and selling to national retailers
- Valid driver's license
- Flexible schedule to accommodate travel and customer requirements
SKILLS:
- Must be highly selfmotivated, energetic, passionate, and capable of team/independent work
- Strong analytical & forecasting ability
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal/written)
- Proven track record in meeting plan objectives & goals
- Must be capable of planning, coordinating, and prioritizing multiple projects
- Understanding of key financial metrics
- Proven excellence in execution
