We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our growing HR Team This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to advance their career with a fast-paced, entrepreneurial firm.


What You Will Do
The HR Business Partner will be responsible for driving the HR function forward and that includes, but is not limited to:

  • Developing and executing effective HR business initiatives that support both the company's and assigned business units' strategic plans
  • Working with assigned business unit(s) leaders to develop and deploy all aspects of effective workforce planning
  • Originating and leading programs to understand and improve employee engagement and employee retention
  • Managing and resolving complex employee relations issues
  • Developing relationships and supporting assigned teams in areas including employee engagement, training & development, compensation & benefits, and performance
  • Providing support and guidance to employees on Human Resources related matters
  • Supporting and delivering companywide projects such as employee engagement initiatives, training initiatives, roll out/updates of new policies, etc.
  • Working with managers during review processes to determine compensation increases in line with internal and external equity and budget
  • Identifying gaps within the team(s) you support and proposing solutions that support overall HR strategic plans
  • Leading and coaching key HR team members
  • Analyzing data and information to provide insights and recommendations
  • Developing strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Coaching and educating regarding HR programs such as organizational design, performance management, change management, employee engagement, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment and development
  • Developing business leader capability by providing ongoing coaching on key organizational and management issues, and feedback on personal and team performance
  • Attending and actively participating in client groups' leadership and management team meetings and discussions

What You Bring
-
Experience:A minimum of - 7 years' experience in Human Resources in an Advisory, Business Partner, Generalist or Senior Operational role.

Experience in the full HR value chain and HR best practices:
employee engagement, talent management, career management, succession planning, workforce planning, and performance management

Education:You have an undergraduate degree or diploma in Human Resource Management; a CPHR or other relevant designation is considered an asset management, remuneration and rewards, organizational effectiveness, and employee relations

Relationship Building: Proven ability to build strong partnerships and influence business decisions with all levels of leaders

Data Analytics: The ability to collect and use high quality data and analytics across HR value chain matters to support with diagnosing people issues

Problem Solver:Effective decision-making, critical thinking, and problem resolution skills
