    The Manager of Canadian Vehicle Safety leads and manages a team with overall responsibility for government investigations, campaign administration and product analysis for our products in Canada, including adherence to all regulatory and internal reporting obligations.

    Position includes significant interface with external groups including Transport Canada and Canadian Vehicle Manufacturers Association, as well as internal cross-functional teams including TSRC Investigation Team, Product Development, Office of the General Counsel, Mopar Technical Service Operations, Mopar Customer Care, and Warranty Finance.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent international degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cross-functional roles with increasing responsibility
  • Must be able to handle multiple assignments and meet aggressive deadlines while maintaining zero tolerance for mistakes
  • Working knowledge of multiple automotive systems
  • Superior communication skills required with the ability to clearly communicate in written and verbal to internal and external agencies
  • Ability to breakdown complex issues
  • High level of accountability for others
  • Must have passion for excellence and drive to deliver in the face of obstacles and time constraints
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a combined ME and EE degree from ABET accredited university
  • Preferred experience within Vehicle Safety, Federal Regulations, Product Development, or Customer Experience
