Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensuring consistency and the highest level of service by training and developing staff and executing the requirements of events based on Fantasyland Hotel's service standards. Ensuring that the rooms are set to the standards of Fantasyland Hotel.
- Coordinating performance of all Banquet servers and Banquet porters.
- Coordinating all aspects of the room and facilities setup and food and beverage service.
- Assisting with scheduling and performance management.
- Responsible for enhancing our Meeting Planner's experience during their convention stay and be highly visible on the Convention floor.
- Coordinating any service request between customers and the hotel. Anticipate and react to all needs in the Banquet area by utilizing Banquet Managers, Banquet Assistant Manager and other associates whose assistance may be required.
- Performing all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner at all times with a commitment to excellence.
- Maintaining a cooperate, teamlike attitude in working with rest of the departments and fellow associates, to achieve our common goals in providing an excellent experience to our guests and maximize our profit margins.
- Responsible for inventory control and accurately prepares customer invoices and billings.
- Other responsibilities as required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience within a Banquet industry or equivalent in a Food and Beverage operation with a 4star+ hotel property or in a highend careering environment.
- Strong leadership, motivational and training skills in order to lead and motivate staff.
- Excellent guest, customer and employee relations are a definite asset.
- Holds Proserve and/or Food Safe certificate or willing to take the required training.
Terms of Employment:
- This is a fulltime position that requires flexible availability Monday through Sunday, days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
- This is a salaried position that will depend on experience and qualifications.
- Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
