_We are seeking the right individual to fulfill a position in our Langley office, as a: _

FRESH PRODUCE QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST
An exciting and rewarding opportunity with the industry leader is waiting for you

Responsibilities:

Inspect all produce items upon arrival at the warehouse
Ensure that all incoming and outgoing product meets strict quality standards
Monitor inventory on a daily basis and communicate condition of product in storage
Conduct CFIA audits for product inspections
Assisting with coaching, teaching and training of staff
Coordination and monitoring of transportation
Identify and communicate problems in a timely manner to minimize losses
Other projects and responsibilities as may arise

Qualifications:

Must have fresh produce experience either in warehouse or retail

Office administration experience is consider as an asset
An understanding of quality control and the ability to review product upon arrival
Excellent verbal, nonverbal and written communication skills in order to report product condition to ensure that it meet specifications
Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude
Demonstrate ability to work unsupervised and meet key deadlines
Ability to work in highpaced environment
Good time management skills
Highly organized; knowledgeable and follow the company's policies and procedures
Must be able to adhere to the company vaccination policy

Salary and benefits will commensurate with experience.
