Overview:

Pembina Pipeline Corporation's Whitecourt office is recruiting for an Instrumentation Tradesperson to join the team.

This position reports to the Maintenance Foreman, in the Gas Services Business Unit (GBU), part of Pembina's Operations Division Business.

The Gas Services Business Unit provides gas gathering, compression, shallow cut processing and both sweet and sour deep cut processing services for its customers, primarily on a fee-for-service basis under long-term contracts.


Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Complete corrective and preventative maintenance on instrumentation equipment in accordance with Pembina's preventable maintenance management program;
  • Assist operations in plant optimization and troubleshooting;
  • Provide technical support on new projects and management of change (MOC);
  • Assist with installation, commissioning, start up, and maintenance of new equipment; and
  • Participate and support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.

Qualifications:


  • Apprentice and/or Journeyman Certification Instrumentation or Interprovincial Red Seal equivalent will be considered;
  • Experience with HONEYWELL DCS installations will be considered an asset;
  • 5+ years' experience in sour gas processing facility maintenance will be considered an asset;
  • Ability to troubleshoot, maintain and calibrate instrumentation equipment effectively;
  • Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication;
  • Working knowledge and experience with SAP will be considered an asset;
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License; and

This position is considered "Safety Sensitive" so will require Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing. You may also be required to provide a Driver's Abstract.
