    As the Associate Vice President (AVP) of Security Architecture and Consulting, you will head and act as a changemaker in reshaping the future of our Enterprise Security Architects' and Enterprise Security Consultants' structure and operational practices to deliver business value. Leading and championing "security by design" across the organization bringing to action consistency, reusability, and optimization, while striking the right balance of business value and security. The AVP, Security Architecture and Consulting will work closely with the broader Information Security function, Enterprise Architecture leadership, and other business and technology stakeholders to provide secure and strategy-enabling solutions and services across the enterprise.

    How you will create impact:

    • Leading, evolving, maturing, and optimizing the Security Architecture and Consulting practice to effectively manage cyber risk and demonstrate value to Technology and Business colleagues.
    • Supportively collaborating and providing senior-level guidance to Enterprise Architecture Consulting & Strategy, specific to the security of systems and data, ensuring alignment, integration, and harmony of security governance, security best practices, and industry-recognized frameworks (i.e. NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
    • Consulting as a trusted advisor and partner to senior leaders within Enterprise Information Security, as well as across Technology and the business to guide and influence alignment/actions with respect to cybersecurity risk management.
    • Elevating the integration of business value into security practices, architectures, and assessments.
    • Developing, implementing, and maintaining the strategic roadmap and program of the Security Architecture and Consulting function.
    • Championing and overseeing the development and refinement of metrics to communicate the value and effectiveness of security architecture and consulting function, and development and maturity of compliance metrics that identify security risks in our architectural patterns and reference architectures, as well in our solutions to guide continuous improvement and effective cyber risk management.
    • Being a member of an extended architecture leadership team that will contribute to advancing and elevating architecture practices across the enterprise through implementation of new processes, aligning to common and standard approaches, and establishing consistency.
    • Leading and engaging your team to deliver strategic objectives through the evolvement of the cyber Security Architecture and Consulting function, effective coaching and mentoring, identifying and developing emerging talent, and fostering an innovative, collaborative, and agile culture.

    To join our team:
    • You have 10 years of progressive IT experience, including 5 years of practice directly overseeing security architecture, security solution teams, or other similarly relevant leadership experience.
    • You have a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology Management, or another field of study with relevant experience.
    • Having the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation and/or Enterprise Architecture framework certification (ex. Zachman, TOGAF) is an asset.
    • You have proven experience in multiple technical disciplines and domains, coupled with in-depth experience with cyber risk management and an in-depth knowledge of information security management frameworks, principles, methodologies, best practices, and standards. Including an understanding the NIST cybersecurity framework.
    • You have a broad understanding of modern technology practices, technology trends and enterprise-scale cybersecurity practices with an acumen to understand long and short-term implications and perspectives of situations.
    • You have led complex transformation change initiatives. Having experience leading the modernization of risk assessment processes, intake processes, and/or redesigning of process flows in an asset.
