Our guests have the ability to adventure and see the many highlights of the lake or relax on their houseboat.

We are located at the largest marina on Shuswap lake surrounded by mountain scenery. It is the perfect location for after work adventures and to work in beautiful Sicamous, BC.

Job Title:

Parts Technician - Shuswap Lakes Vacations Inc.


Job Function:


To administer, monitor the purchasing of equipment, parts, supplies and follow inventory control systems for the movement of parts/supplies for the daily operation of Shuswap Lakes Vacations Inc.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Research and purchase parts and supplies
  • Control movement of stock items from inventory using Quality Control System
  • Pickup and delivery of parts, inventory, stock and other required items
  • Ensure proper billing and invoicing
  • Advise on efficiencies and cost saving measures within scope of work
  • Performs shipping and receiving tasks of inventory
  • Performs other duties or support to coworkers as the pressures dictate with the Twin Anchors environment

Required Skills and Knowledge:


  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Drivers license and clean driving abstract
  • Customer service philosophy training or related work experience
  • Computer knowledge in Word, data processing software and spreadsheets
  • Experience in parts, purchasing, inventory control processes and systems

Preferred Knowledge/Experience:


  • Experience with marine mechanical parts and systems
  • Knowledge of the houseboat industry, operational and manufacturing
  • Experience with electrical and plumbing
  • Parts/Purchasing department experience or related experience
*Must currently be legally able to work in Canada*
