As an
Associate National Account Manager, you will help lead all aspects of sales for buying group accounts. You will lead growth through commercial activities, marketing strategies and operational performance within our buying group customers.

Located in Boucherville, Québec, you will assess customer needs, connect with main merchants across the home improvement industry, and receive mentorship from senior account leader.

You will assist to develop the overall strategy for our buying group accounts. You will report to the National Accounts (USCA) Director.


Key Responsibilities

  • Help achieve current and longterm sales growth plans and financial objectives (P&L) for the account, along with a variety of responsibilities including product launches, instore and online merchandising, pricing, promotions, and data maintenance.
  • Help provide recommendations that are following product mix and profitability.
  • Maintain, nurture, and expand relationships with existing business accounts and contribute as a primary contact and source for main accounts.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our current portfolio with current customer and upsell the category.
  • Analyze sales trends and provide insights to optimize assortment, capitalize on crossmerchandising opportunities and improve sales performance.
  • Supervise item level sales, service, inventory and forecast against key performance and efficiency metrics to find opportunities and/or address challenges and collaborate with internal and external partners for resolution.
  • Lead periodic subcategory line reviews and deep dives to retain and grow distribution of PPG products demonstrating sales data, competitive intelligence and consumer insights.
  • Provide leadership as it relates to product launches, program execution, business operations and special projects.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including technical support, product team, customer service, credit, planning, and commercial team to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the channel marketing associate and the field team the execution of the National promo calendar activities and the specific dealer promotions.
  • Build the flyer calendar activity for retail with key customers and help configure the promo internally.
  • Active participation in the organization of trade shows and commercial activities.
  • Support the administrative tasks related to code creation for customers for new product launches, claims, pricing accuracy, activity code creation.
  • Data processing and reporting are necessary to this role.
  • Work in close collaboration with the senior account manager and marketing team in the preparation of sales pitch and commercial proposals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing, preferred, with 3+ years of account management, sales, or retail operations experience. Experience with a major national retailer is preferred.
  • Background in business analytics with comprehension of retail operations and merchandising with a track record to share information with all levels and departments of an organization.
