Description

The Winnipeg Football Club are adding to our food & beverage team and are searching for a Payroll Coordinator & Office Assistant who will perform the payroll and general data entry/ office duties for the food & beverage department.

We will hire an energetic, self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to assist with this fast-paced department.


What you will do:


  • Coordinate and perform all daytoday payroll activities for the Food & Beverage/Retail departments for parttime, hourly employees (500+ employees).
  • Ensure accurate deductions on the payroll.
  • Solve payroll problems/challenges.
  • Prepare all rush cheque payments, bank recalls or cheque cancellations.
  • Assist with the implementation of new payroll codes/rates when required and testing the changes in codes/rates with various departments.
  • Using the timepunch system, ensure accurate hours are represented for staff.
  • Enroll, terminate, and ensure accurate changes are made for employees within the payroll system.
  • General office duties (i.e. filing, ordering supplies, maintenance of equipment etc.).
  • Data entry and general office duties.
  • Assist with inventory management, including inventory counts.

Requirements:


  • 15 years experience with payroll administration.
  • Payworks experience is an asset.
  • Optimum Control experience is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of local, provincial and federal regulations governing payroll.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong organizational, communications, timemanagement, and interpersonal skills.
  • Consistent and reliable attention to detail, accuracy and validity.
  • Ability to handle manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and work independently with mínimal supervision.
  • Ability to work flexible hours such as evenings, weekends and game days between April and November.
