Nurse Practitioner (Part-Time)

As a candidate applying for this position, you will be working with private and/or government-run care facilities and hospitals, offering your services and expertise in a staffing support capacity.

Nurse Practitioners provide care to individuals who need assistance as they deal with the effects of aging, injury, surgery, or illness
Working at RT Medical, you will use an evidence-based approach to assess, complete a diagnostic work-up, treat, make referrals to specialists and allied health for patients and residents
However, it may also involve remote work and virtual care
Provide services in a variety of settings which may include in-home, clinic, retirement home or hospital
In collaboration with the Care Team, facility, patient/family/caregiver and other health care professionals, help formulate a plan of care based on patient assessment
Perform advanced, comprehensive health assessments in-person or over a telemedicine platform
Evaluate effectiveness of treatment plan(s) and adjust accordingly in consultation with the patient/family/caregiver and other health care professionals

Master of Nursing-Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP), Primary Health Nurse Practitioner (PHNCP), Master of Nursing/Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner (MN/PHCNP), or related Nurse Practitioner Master's Degree.

Experience in performing advanced, comprehensive health assessments in person or over a telemedicine platform
Excellent problem solving, time management, and crisis resolution skills
Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR
Updated immunization records (including completion of a two-step tuberculosis test within the last 6 months)
The position will require travel of more than 30 minutes there Valid G2/G driver's license, access to a reliable car, and vehicle liability insurance required
