We currently have an opportunity in our accounting department for an Accounts Receivable Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and submission of all ARrelated reports
- Monitoring of customer accounts for delinquencies and discrepancies
- Set up new customer accounts in the system
- Submission of customer information to insurance portal for credit approval and limits
- Build relationships with customer contacts for the efficient collection of accounts and resolution of discrepancies
- Investigate/Analyze discrepancies in the AR records and prepare necessary adjustments in the system
- Process customer payments in the system
- Ensure the credit management policies and procedures are adhered to
- Support the monthend close process by ensuring that related transactions are posted
Qualifications:
- Postsecondary diploma in Accounting or equivalent
- More than 3 years of experience in a similar role within an ERP environment
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Highly accurate and attentive to details
- Well organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on customer service
- A team player with great interpersonal skills
Compensation and Employee Benefits:
- Salary: $70,000
