We currently have an opportunity in our accounting department for an Accounts Receivable Specialist.


Responsibilities:

• Preparation and submission of all ARrelated reports
• Monitoring of customer accounts for delinquencies and discrepancies
• Set up new customer accounts in the system
• Submission of customer information to insurance portal for credit approval and limits
• Build relationships with customer contacts for the efficient collection of accounts and resolution of discrepancies
• Investigate/Analyze discrepancies in the AR records and prepare necessary adjustments in the system
• Process customer payments in the system
• Ensure the credit management policies and procedures are adhered to
• Support the monthend close process by ensuring that related transactions are posted

Qualifications:

• Postsecondary diploma in Accounting or equivalent
• More than 3 years of experience in a similar role within an ERP environment
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Highly accurate and attentive to details
• Well organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on customer service
• A team player with great interpersonal skills

Compensation and Employee Benefits:
