Opportunity:


We are seeking a Systems Analyst to be part of the Enterprise Systems team supporting our Omni-channel and retail business partners and associated technologies.

As part of a highly visible team, this role requires excellent teamwork, technical, analytical, and communication skills to perform frontline support for business users.


Reporting to the Senior Manager of Enterpise Systems, you will work collaboratively with business and IT partners to support projects from ideation to solution delivery.

You will be responsible for capturing business objectives and needs into high level requirements, translating them into detailed solution requirements & specifications, and play a key role working as part of the delivery team to ensure that solutions achieve their intended goals.


Through day to day functions, the
Omni Channel Systems Analyst contributes to maintaining and strengthening Saje's culture; proactively engaging in behaviours that align with Saje's values: Wellness, Growth, Celebration, Greatness and Belonging.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with business leaders to efficiently and effectively gather business requirements by carrying out work flow analysis, defining business scope and objectives and planning, designing, or modifying practical manual and automated business processes
  • Engage with business partners and influence project decisions; assess the risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands
  • Collaborate with software vendors and implementers to investigate and evaluate potential solution alternatives for objectives and requirements, lead and/or participate in product selection process
  • Perform various roles on projects as needed, which may include project lead, analysis lead, test lead, system trainer
  • Track and Perform regular maintenance tasks required to ensure smooth operations of existing Enterprise Application Systems
  • Triage issues for urgency and independently take appropriate actions including rapid response to priority 1 issues
  • Take proactive steps to communicate and manage issues, roadblocks and outcomes with management and stakeholders
  • Prepare written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging

Applicant Requirements:


  • University degree (Business, Management Information Systems or Computer Science) from a recognized university and/or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of recent, related experience in a medium sized organization
  • Technical platform experience:
  • 5 or more years experience with ERP and point of sale systems. Preference to those with Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP combined with retail modern point of sale (MPOS)
  • 3 or more years experience with order management systems (OMS)
  • Proven record of complex problem solving and decision making
  • Understanding of business analysis principles, processes, and techniques
  • Proven ability to work crossfunctionally in an organization, build strong relationships and implement processes & structures to ensure an effective working model between teams
  • Selfmotivated and selfdirected, able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently staying on track to key dates and managing expectations
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Experience with using ticketing and requirements management tools, including ServiceNow, JIRA and/or TFS

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Enterprise Systems.
