Based in
North Bay,
the
Mining Construction Technician will report to the Project Manager and will have a wide range of duties which ultimately focus on providing mining survey and civil engineering support.
You will be part of a team that provides civil engineering and survey support on mining and other infrastructure/development projects, working on client-driven rotations.
What You'll Do:
The Mining Construction Technician will be part of the Engineering team
You will:
- Perform materials testing, including onsite tests, soil sampling, and data collection
- Perform laboratory testing of soils and concrete in strict accordance with the applicable standards, including documentation and reporting of results
- Undertake civil construction inspections, including QC & QA monitoring to confirm compliance with approved drawings and contract specifications
- Perform UAV surveys
- Be responsible for material quantity control
