    • Course description: CAbstract data types and data structures for implementing them. Linked data structures. Encapsulation and information-hiding. Object-oriented programming. Specifications. Analyzing the efficiency of programs. Recursion. This course assumes programming experience in a language such as Python, C++, or Java, as provided by CSC108H5. Students who already have this background may consult the Computer Science faculty advisor for advice about skipping CSC108H5.

    • Minimum qualifications: Expertise with Python, pytests, doctests, and unit tests is required. Proficiency with setting up, maintaining, and running the infrastructure used for autotesting (MarkUs and its test cases) and detecting code similarity (e.g., MOSS, jPlag) is also required.
    • Preferred qualifications: Teaching experience preferred
    • Description of duties: The CSC148 automarking position involves creating and running the autotests for Python programming assignments, labs, and practice problems. The automarking TA must be available to run these tests multiple times per week and to get results posted quickly, to give students rapid feedback.
