Role & Responsibilities - How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Maintain and install avionics and electrical systems in accordance with applicable installation drawings and/or manufacturer's maintenance and installation manuals.
  • Install, test and verify the operation of avionics systems and equipment to successfully diagnose faults on various aircraft types and airframes using hand tools, test equipment and technical documentation.
  • Ensure that all installations are performed in accordance with standard operating procedures and Canadian Aviation and/or FAA regulations, as applicable.
  • Perform line maintenance troubleshooting and ensure operational performance standards are met.
  • Assist in the disassembly and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Qualities & Skills - What Sets You Apart:

  • You have at least 3 years' experience in avionics.
  • Experience on business jets (preferred).
  • You have A certification, P certification or both (preferred).
  • You have a GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) certificate (preferred).
  • You hold an AME-E? certificate, which is an asset.
  • You have completed a TCAAapproved avionics course or an accredited avionics course.
  • Bilingual (French and English)
