Summary of Responsibilities
Process and administer all import/export activities for Yamaha Motor Canada on time and with accuracy.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Process all import and export shipments for all product lines prior to port arrive to Canada and shipment departure from Canada.
Ensure 100% accuracy daily of parts and accessories and unit manifests for all ERP systems and others vendors confirming tariff code, value, COO accuracy.
Database maintenance for tariff classifications, MSR, NAFTA and STC updated within 2 business of receipt.
Ensure 100 % accuracy of entries for Duty and taxes. Duty and taxes processed and paid same day as received to The Receiver General of Canada.
Assist or back up other department staff when required.
Recertification of IATA training required for Dangerous Goods shipments every two years.

Education Requirements and/or Experience Requirements

Degree/Diploma:Minimum high school diploma, 1 year customs diploma preferred

Years of Experience:3-5 years preferred

Type of Experience:Must have experience working in customs related field.
