    Job Summary


    •Experience in Family Based Treatment for Eating Disorders an asset

    •Experience relevant to working with Eating disorder patients and their families preferred

    •Experience relevant to working in an Outpatient Child and Family Mental Health Program, family therapy, individual therapy, group therapy and case management

    •Demonstration of acceptable knowledge of psychological/social work principles, methods and techniques, and ability to apply them in an outpatient mental health setting

    •Ability to work flexibly in a multi-disciplinary team is a requirement of the position

    •Psychological assessment knowledge and skills are preferred

    •Demonstration of initiative and sound clinical judgment

    •Role models both professional and organizational core competencies.

    •Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal

    •Demonstrated problem assessment skills

    •Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork

    •Demonstrated individual leadership skills

    Qualifications


    •Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or equivalent discipline from an accredited university, with child and adolescent mental health training and expertise.

    •Registration in good standing with the appropriate College or professional association, to comply with licensing according to hospital professional practice requirements.

    As a condition of employment, you are required to submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination to the Hospital's Occupational Health and Safety department. Successful candidates will be required to submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination (two doses) from the Ontario Ministry of Health website or other authorized source directly to the Occupational Health and Safety department. In the event that you are unable to be vaccinated as a result of a ground protected under the Human Rights Code, you may submit a written explanation of the ground and any supporting documentation to determine if you are exempt from this requirement to the recruitment team.
