Overview*
In This Role, You Will.

  • Coordinate the intake and completion of customergenerated requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), security and vendor questionnaires, and work with a team of colleagues to provide accurate, timely responses.
  • Review customer orders for Solace products and services and coordinate with the sales, finance, and legal teams to ensure all orders have the correct terms.
  • Assist the field/sales organization during the customer/contracting lifecycle, from LeadtoQuote, ContracttoOrder, BookingtoRenewal/Crosssell/Upsell
  • Ensure and manage data quality in Salesforce for all proposed and closed orders.
  • Build a database of information to simplify Solace's response to customer requests for proposals and other requests for information, as well as to assist with Solace's ISO 27001 annual certification and SOC 2 audit.

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • College degree/diploma in Business Administration
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated work experience in related fields; Software Sales/Software Accounting/Finance/Revenue Recognition/Legal/Sales Planning/Operations or Business Contracting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Appetite for growth and continuous education, learning new technologies, skills and processes with a strong tolerance for change
  • Passion and curiosity in the tech industry, deal desk, and sales operations
  • Peopleoriented and capable of working and communicating with employees at all levels of the company
  • Datadriven mindset, strong analytical skills with demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong preference for working with technology tools to make processes more efficient, such as Salesforce, DocuSign, CPQ / CLM software, and all Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and ethical decisionmaking with a mínimal amount of supervision
  • Flexible and open to constant challenge and change within the fastpaced environment of a growing business
  • Ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail, effectively multitask, and adhere to concurrent deadlines
