The Recreation Theatre Attendant greets customers, establishes nature of business and directs customers to appropriate area or person.
You ensure access to the facilities, equipment and services is by authorized clients only and provides customers with information regarding the facilities, services and activities.
You open and close the facilities in accordance with security regulations, address minor disputes and refers conflicts between customers to supervisor.
You handle cash, write receipts and maintain records of sales, maintains a cash float, completes shift deposit, and ensure security of float at end of day.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**High school diploma
AND some years of experience in a related field
OR
An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered
AND
Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification
Experience
In cash handling
In theatre operations
In projector and sound systems operations
In inventory control
In food and beverage preparation
In food and beverage services
In cleaning office facilities, an asset
Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English Essential

Perform moderate lifting, carrying, pulling and/or pushing (i.e. more than 10 lbs/4.5 kg but less than 50 lbs/23 kg).
Keep our Canadian Armed Forces operationally ready and their families and military community healthy as part of the team at Personnel Support Programs.
Personnel Support Programs contributes to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces through the provision of fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment.
