The Retail Experience Creative Strategist will be an integral member of Agency361, TD's Creative Center of Excellence and a critical partner to Branch Transformations and Marketing Planning at TD.


Job Description:


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and drive Creative Strategy for TD's 1000+ Canadian Branches including ATMs, Digital screens and exterior facing posters
  • Plan and support the execution of Retail Experience strategies that take advantage of the zones of the Branch, recognizing that different opportunities and audiences exist for exterior posters, ATM and interior signage.
  • Foster and maintain a network of Retail Excellence partners and vendors to stay up to date on emerging Retail Merchandising trends and provide thought leadership, best practice guidance and tools and tips for Marketing and lines of business.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Transformations team to build a Content Calendar for Branch Merchandising and work with Marketing colleagues to ensure that content created aligns to the Content Calendar.
  • Be able to speak strategically about the way messaging within the Branch and ATM channel can drive business objectives (sales, reduced channel bumping, education and delivering advice) and understand what opportunities exist to measure effectiveness.
  • Manage and optimize a high impact clings strategy, helping to identify, and best utilize, a select number of premium Branch locations to execute high impact exterior clings that drive business objectives and elevate the TD Brand.
  • Consult on Creative Briefs to ensure that TD Marketing is incorporating Retail Experience insights that lead to compelling, business building experiences within the Branch.
  • Be a champion for a multichannel campaign approach where the Branch Experience amplifies and harmonizes with messages in all channels without being identical.
  • Inspire marketing colleagues by working alongside the Agency361 Creative Team to concept and present Retail Experience ideas that are innovative, engaging and leverage the latest best practice.
  • Work with Marketing Planning and Branch Transformation to ensure that a locally appropriate translation or adaptation strategy is applied while maintaining consistency with National campaigns
  • Work with Branch Transformations to manage and optimize a library of templates to support local selfservice communications and announcement within TD's Branch publishing tool.
  • Be a partner and champion for an integrated Agency model where campaigns are developed in parallel with internal and external creative experts.
  • Be a Brand champion by ensuring all content is developed in accordance with TDs Brand Visual Identity and Brand Voice guidelines.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
years Marketing or Marketing Agency experience with a focus on Retail channels

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Merchandising or a related field
  • An addition language (French or Chinese) an asset
