Are you looking to be part of an expanding team? Do you want to be part of an exciting team solving technical challenges and driving initiatives?Corporate Planning Group's Foundry Technology Engineering team is looking for bright, motivated individuals.


Foundry Technology Engineering (FTE) is part of the Global External Manufacturing and Sourcing group who is responsible for driving external manufacturing technical engagements.

As a member of the External IP/EDA Strategy and Enablement team, you will have the opportunity to work with external vendors and cross division partners across Intel.

The position requires you to use your EDA technical expertise and combine that with Foundry, packaging, ecosystem knowledge and business acumen to drive innovative initiatives.

In this role, responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Lead technical engineering programs for 3DIC EDA enablement related initiatives
  • Work with pathfinding and testchip teams to enable leading edge process technology and mixed foundry enablement activities
  • Participate handson in chiplet implementation studies and pathfinding exercises
  • Partner with internal product teams to understand overall product requirements and align on EDA strategy and needs
  • Review ecosystem capability to support pathfinding, testchip and SoC developments
  • Evaluate EDA vendor tools and drive EDA vendors to meet Intel's project and testchip needs

Also, you must possess:

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment and make good decisions with limited or incomplete data
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills are a must as this position requires interaction at multiple levels within and outside of Intel

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.


Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or any STEM related field degree

6+ years of experience in the field of EDA or IP or SoC design

5+ years of direct hands-on analog or digital design work


Preferred qualifications:

5+ years of experience in:
Vendor management experience
Deep knowledge of industry standard CAD tools/flows for digital and/or analog design
Ability to understand EDA and IP technical requirements and market needs with knowledge of various product disciplines
Have worked with or ability to understand tool flows and technical requirements for development EDA tools

Working Model:


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
