Team Profile:
The Cyber, Data, Risk and Resilience (CDRR) organization within Technology at Morgan Stanley, provides first-line defenses for information and cyber security, fraud, resilience, response and recovery, and technology risk and controls.
The combination of these groups, in close partnership with the business and technology teams, enhance the resilience of the Firm, address the complex and continuously evolving threat environment, drive compliance with policy and regulatory requirements, and ensure data governance, quality and security.

The mission of the Resilience Governance team, under Firm Resilience, is to ensure the Firm's resilience framework fosters a culture of resilience enabling the Firm to effectively respond and recover from business disruptions to safeguard our clients, the market and the integrity of the Firm.
Provide extensive and comprehensive governance oversight for all resilience efforts to ensure robust management and transparency of business disruption risk to stakeholders.
Position Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Resilience Policy and Committee Management specialist to join our team.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for the development and management of resilience policies, standards, and procedures to ensure Firm's ability to withstand and recover from various disruptions and crises.
Additionally, you will play a crucial role in improving our governance structure and ensuring that reporting mechanisms are efficient and transparent.
Responsibilities:
- Support development and implementation of the Firm's strategic resilience framework for the Firm ensuring an effective operating model to build resilience for the Firm.
- Research and analysis: Conduct indepth research on industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging threads to develop a comprehensive understanding of resilience requirements.
- Policy development: Develop policies, standards to address identified risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Procedure design: Develop detailed procedures and guidelines that support the implementation of resilience policies, incorporating input from various departments.
- Training and awareness: Collaborate with Training teams to educate employees on resilience policies, standards, and procedures to foster a culture of preparedness.
- Committee Governance Enhancement: Evaluate and enhance the resilience governance structure within the organization, including committee charters, roles, responsibilities, and decisionmaking processes.
- Committee Reporting Optimization: Design, develop, and implement improved resilience reporting frameworks to facilitate better decisionmaking, streamline communication, and enhance transparency.
- Manage selected Resilience projects to closure with the objective of building the Firm's resilience posture
- Support response to regulatory, audit and client engagements pertaining to Firm Resilience programs as required
- Contribute to a team culture of inclusivity, positivity, innovation, growth, and fun
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of experience in the Financial Services sector within a resilience or risk management related role
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a resilience domain/understanding of industry best practices pertaining to Operational Resilience Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Third-Party Resilience
- Experience successfully managing and delivering project independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) with the ability to articulate program enhancements to key stakeholders
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Strong relationship building and influencing skills
- Selfmotivated, proactive, and calm under pressure
