*Candidates must reside in the GTA area to be considered for this role as they will be required to be in office 3 days a week at the Toronto Corporate Office.

JOB SUMMARY

The primary function of the Enterprise Infrastructure Manager is to plan and implement enterprise IT projects and oversee day to day IT operational delivery. This includes hardware and software lifecycle management, server builds, infrastructure design, innovation, support and access management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads designs of DFG infrastructure providing the "right size" solution for business objectives
• Reviews and implements best practices and innovations across windows server landscape.
• Coordinates support with vendors for maintenance, upgrades and ongoing support .
• Assist in the development and design of processes and procedures for Disaster Recovery in conjunction with IT Operations
• Management of VDI / Virtual desktop environments and Infrastructure.
• Storage configuration, monitoring and management.
• Works with and provides leadership and technical guidance to system administrators and network teams.
• Design, implement, manage and maintain a stable, responsive, highly available cloud infrastructure.
• Act as a liaison of technical support to all departments to resolve complex issues and problems
• Manage overall team performance, metrics and SLAs.
• CMDB management.
• Owns RCAs for all infrastructure Incidents
• Acts as a point of escalation for all infrastructure service-related tickets.
• Manages an accurate, up to date and SOP documentation libraries.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to teams.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 8+ years' experience in IT Operations and Infrastructure.
• Certificates: ITIL, PMP, MCSE, COBIT, Etc.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

• 8+ years of expertise in Infrastructure technology, Virtualization and Documentation.
• Practical knowledge and experience with a broad range of infrastructure technologies and Internet facing environments. Examples including VMware, Nutanix, Windows Servers, Azure and AWS.
• Demonstrated ability to design infrastructure achieving high levels of availability.
• Expertise in storage technologies, configuration and management.
• Experience in Enterprise-level software package integration and deployment.
• Expert understanding of infrastructure project lifecycles.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical architectures & operation methodologies.
• Proven experience with defining and evaluating solutions, vendors, and technologies related to IT infrastructure.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills to navigate the organization and motivate the teams.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.
• In depth knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
• SCCM and Patch management lifecycles.
• Hands on experience with MI, IaaS, PaaS
