About the roleBranch Location: 321A - 21st Street East, Saskatoon
In this role, you will provide operational and administrative support, as well as quality standards to the Wealth and Personal Banking business at the branch.
The Operations Risk and Administration Associate will identify and understand basic customer needs in order to complete transactions and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain superior and courteous service to internal and external contacts
- Meet expectations in terms of speed, certainty and efficiency of response
- Ensure branch or work area is maintained in accordance with HSBC standards
- Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets
- Contributes to teambased approach in completing tasks and meeting internal and external customer needs.
- Participates in quality, regulatory and compliance training in order to meet performance targets
Associate
- Effective communicator, with strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Previous customer service / banking industry experience
- Ability to multitask, and handle large volumes, tight turnarounds and multiple deadlines
- Detailed orientated with good time management and organizational skills
- Team player and development minded
- Some experience with conflict resolution required
- Fluency in a second language is an asset
- Secondary school graduate
- Effective communicator, with strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Previous customer service / banking industry experience
- Ability to multitask, and handle large volumes, tight turnarounds and multiple deadlines

- Team player and development minded
- Some experience with conflict resolution required
- Fluency in a second language is an asset

- Mutual Fund Licensing requires completion of Investment Funds in Canada Course; Canadian Investment Funds Course; or Canadian Securities Course; and Mutual Fund Skills Builders Course
- Branch Manager Course offered by Canadian Securities Institute or Investment Funds In Canada; or A Branch Compliance Officers Course offered by Investment Funds Institute of Canadian Bankers.
