Great Canadian Exteriors is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Advisor to join our team.The HR Advisor will play a key role in supporting various human resources functions to ensure the smooth operation of our growing company.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork completion, orientation, and training arrangements.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries.
- Researching best practices in all HR areas, providing information and reports on findings as directed.
- Providing onboarding assistance for new hires.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
- Supporting day to day human resources administration requests
- Assist with HR communications, including the development and dissemination of policies, procedures, and announcements.
- Provide administrative support to various members of senior management on a variety of HR related duties.
- Create the workflow for the new HR coordinator role
- Assist with the organizations safety programs
Qualifications:
- Human Resource Diploma or Bachelor's degree
- 35 years of experience in HR coordination, advisory or related roles.
- Experience navigating elements of a safety program, from an HR perspective
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in all Human Resources functional areas will be considered an asset
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets.
- Good judgment and decisionmaking skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite of tools (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
- Knowledge and ability to interpret employment laws and regulations in Alberta

Salary:
$50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
