Great Canadian Exteriors is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Advisor to join our team.

The HR Advisor will play a key role in supporting various human resources functions to ensure the smooth operation of our growing company.


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork completion, orientation, and training arrangements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries.
  • Researching best practices in all HR areas, providing information and reports on findings as directed.
  • Providing onboarding assistance for new hires.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
  • Supporting day to day human resources administration requests
  • Assist with HR communications, including the development and dissemination of policies, procedures, and announcements.
  • Provide administrative support to various members of senior management on a variety of HR related duties.
  • Create the workflow for the new HR coordinator role
  • Assist with the organizations safety programs

Qualifications:


  • Human Resource Diploma or Bachelor's degree
  • 35 years of experience in HR coordination, advisory or related roles.
  • Experience navigating elements of a safety program, from an HR perspective
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in all Human Resources functional areas will be considered an asset
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets.
  • Good judgment and decisionmaking skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite of tools (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge and ability to interpret employment laws and regulations in Alberta

Job Types:

Salary:
$50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
