- Complete design calculations and drawings that satisfy all the applicable code and regulation requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of schedules, estimates and construction packages.
- Conduct surveys and worksite visits of project area.
- Assist with permitting requirements, submissions and reviews.
- Support with the preparation of reports regarding the status and results of completed and in-progress design projects.
- Prepare technical reports as required by the client and project team.
- Utilize various design software and tools.
- Liaises with clients, contractors, field staff.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
- Registration as an E.I.T. with the P.E.O is an asset.
- CET certified or CET eligible is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proven people and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with a diverse group of individuals.
- Experience with Auto CAD software, Microstation, and 3-D software an asset.
- Ability to travel for projects.
- Proven ability to take initiative and leadership.
- Strong problem solving skills.
