As the Technical Supervisor, Bodily Injury, you will provide technical expertise and motivational leadership to foster a client service culture and exceed client expectations.

You will manage operational and technical process with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation to optimize efficiency and support the business strategy.


How you will create impact:


  • Leading a team and collaborating with peers to cultivate a change ready environment and successfully deliver on business objectives.
  • Supporting technical training and assisting with employee development by evaluating files to ensure policy interpretations, violations, assessment, negotiation and client service are aligned with respective guidelines, standards and legislation.
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with various service providers and partners.
  • Fostering an exceptional client service culture within your team, in accordance with our claims service and quality standards, with the view of enabling the organization to be the industry leader in client engagement.
  • Coaching and developing your team, recruiting and selecting talent, recognizing achievements, and managing performance, to develop an agile team and achieve department objectives.

  • You will travel occasionally.
  • Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
  • As a leader, strict confidentiality is required with respect to sensitive matters and employees' personal information.

To join our team:


  • You have seven years of experience within the insurance industry or a related field.
  • You have completed postsecondary education.
  • You have or are working towards the Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) or Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
  • You have demonstrated successful experience in coaching, developing and leading others.
  • You have comprehensive knowledge of insurance policies and claims handling practices and strategies across all provincial jurisdictions.
