Description
Qualifications:
- Previous employment in a healthcare/hospitality setting an asset
- Demostrated understanding of/ empathy for the needs of seniors
- Must have a total understanding of bookkeeping practices and sufficient accounting knowledge to determine proper entries, prepare resident invoices.
- Payroll & HR experience
- Union experience an asset
- Minimum 1 year experience with Sage software, strong microsoft Exel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Maintain accounting records for all invoices, deposits, rent and service fee collections
- Perform payroll duties necessary for calculation of accurate wages and salary of all staff
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial, personal and resident data
- Be knowledgeable with union contract in place by UFCW/Victoria employees
- Support General manager with any and all issues rerlated to the faccilities and buisness transactions.
- Be knowledgeable of and practice residences fire safety programs
- May be required to assist staff with resident care or assist GM in other duties in emergency situations.
