Additional Information about the Position:

This is a unionized position;
40hour/week schedule, from Sunday to Saturday;
Day, evening, and night shifts, rotating every 2 weeks;
Evening premium at $10.25/hour;
Night premium at $20.50/hour;
Weekend premium at $103.73/hour.

Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate the loading and unloading operations of containers from trains, ships, and trucks at our two terminals;
Maintain and/or increase productivity goals by efficiently using our human and material resources as well as our warehousing environment;
Propose qualitative and productivity improvement areas;
Make recommendations to improve customer service.

Requirements and Skills:

University and/or college degree in operations management, transportation logistics, or any other relevant field;
Minimum of 5 years of operational experience preferably in logistics, transportation, or shipping;
Experience in managing unionized personnel;
Ability to work under pressure and make decisions with a high degree of responsibility;
Excellent communication skills;
Positive attitude, highly developed leadership;
Ability to work outdoors to supervise work;
Proficiency in standard computer tools;
Oral and written bilingualism (French and English) adapted to the function.
