The Blue Horizon seeks an energetic and enthusiastic Guest Experience Manager (GEM) to join our team.

We are well located in the heart of Robson Street with its wonderful variety of shops and eateries for every taste and budget.

Our 215 spacious guest rooms are all corner rooms with 2 walls of windows from the cruciform shape of the hotel.

Our guests enjoy spectacular panoramic views of our beautiful city with the English Bay water view being the favourite.

We value delivering excellent guest service experiences, teamwork, a respectful workplace and consistent processes.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to Front Office Manager, the GEM plays a key supporting role with in our team to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction and employee accountability.
Train and coach Guest Service Agents.
Respond to guest inquires with ease and finesse and be proactive.
Reply to guest reviews on various platforms.
Respond to reservation inquiries from perspective guests via all available communication channels.
Handson position assist with checkins and checkouts at the front desk, as needed.
Safety of guests and team members; have working knowledge of Fire Safety Plan.
