Island Eyecare is looking for a Full Time Optical Associates at our practice in Victoria, BC.This team member will work a schedule of 37.5 to 40 hours per week (Full Time) and includes some Saturdays.

We are also looking to fill a Part Time position as well.

The Optical Associate will be responsible for the pretesting and front desk duties of eyewear products as well as follow-up patient care.

• Good computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous retail experience an asset
• Administering pretesting services such as retinal digital imaging
• Customer service activities including appointment bookings, prescription printouts, and billing and payments
• Office administrative tasks including processing mail, filing, and faxing
• Interpreting optical prescriptions as written by optometrist
• Performing repairs and adjustments to patients' eyewear
• Arranging and maintaining retail display area
• Contributing to store retail sales goals
• Upholding excellent customer service standards using your charisma and problem solving skills
