We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Journeyperson CNC Machinist at our head office in Red Deer, AB.

What will you do?

  • CNC Programming (CAD, Gibbs Cam, etc.)
  • Compliance with Safety Procedures, Engineering Specifications, Quality Standards (ISO, ABSA, PED, UKCA) & Inspections and FATs
  • Edit Existing Programs on CNC as Needed
  • Operate and handle materials and tools in a safe manner
  • Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings, Blueprints, Charts and Tables
  • Setup and Operate Manual Lathe/Mill/Flatbed Grinder/Drill Press
  • Setup, Operate and Program CNC Lathe/Mill
  • Verify Dimensions of Parts Machined Using Precise Measuring Instruments (i.e. Micrometers, Calipers)
What do you need?

  • Familiarity with Fanuc and Fagor control is an asset
  • G code and conversational programming
  • Class 5 Driver's License
  • Forklift and Crane training are an asset
  • Ability to work in general shop environment
