    Role: PR Account Coordinator (4 months - 1 year of experience)

    About the role: P&C is seeking a resourceful and dynamic multi-tasker to join the team as an Account Coordinator. As an Account Coordinator you will be responsible for providing entry-level support for several of our accounts which includes ownership of client coverage reports, development of media lists, media relations support and development of media materials.

    Roles and responsibilities of an Account Coordinator include (but are not limited to) the following:

    • Assist multiple client teams in media relations and execution of PR programs.
    • Monitor, track and report media coverage for multiple clients.
    • Develop media and influencer lists, and pitch effectively to deliver exceptional program results.
    • Negotiate influencer contracts and seed influencers for program campaigns.
    • Develop press releases, media advisories, key messages and editorial calendars
    • Attend and take notes at internal and client meetings
    • Prepare meeting schedules and call agendas for clients
    • Track hours and expenses
    • Participate in weekly status updates

    About you:

    • A postgraduate degree in public relations, marketing communications, journalism, business or similar background
    • 4 months – 1 year of directly related experience; an agency background is a MUST
    • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills; strong technical and creative writing skills are a must
    • Excellent organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects within established deadlines
