  • The Regulatory Reporting Group (RRG) has operational oversight to ensure compliance standards are being met for an assortment of regulatory reporting mandates globally, on behalf of TDS.
  • The team is responsible for maintaining BAU functions, delivering against Change Initiatives and driving efficiencies aimed at providing a robust, scalable, and flexible infrastructure, whilst maintaining and managing the risk appetite.

Job Details

  • The position requires the selected individual to facilitate detailed requirement discussions across stakeholder groups and promote optimal testing plan/strategies as related to regulatory reporting change needs
  • Able to formulate recommendations regarding delivery/implementation approaches to regulatory reporting initiatives
  • Coordinate with stakeholders (e.g. Compliance, Operational Risk, and Technology) to ensure teams leverage best practices and develop processes to ensure Operations is in alignment
  • Summarize and communicate complex problems in a summarized, effective manner to senior management
  • Provide progress reports to senior management, clearly stipulating constraints, dependencies, and delays that may impact overall delivery
  • Advanced data manipulation skills ability to investigate and derive findings/conclusions from large data sets
  • Familiarity with Python and/or other data analytics tools is an asset
  • Own change management deliverables as related to regulatory reporting on complex projects and programs
  • Facilitate a smooth transition into BAU (e.g. ongoing processes exist, viable workarounds identified for any defects, handover of ownership)
  • Assess potential issues, mitigate, and report/escalate as required
  • Act as a consultant and valued resource to business and other working partners
  • Protect the interests of the organization identify, manage, and raise risks or issues and problem solve as required; stay on top of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements
  • Facilitate meetings between multiple stakeholders and decision makers to ensure projects are appropriately tracked and delivered on time
  • Prepare regulatory reports to regulators and other entities, from a wide range of internal departments
  • Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and automation of manual tasks
  • Oversee and manage a team of 2 individuals responsible for change related initiatives impacting regulatory reporting processes

Job Requirements

  • Global Markets, Risk/Compliance Operations, and regulatory reporting experience
  • Solid knowledge of Capital Markets and willingness to continue enhancing knowledge
  • Solid knowledge of trade life cycle
  • Solid technical knowledge of Python and SQL
  • Strong relationship management skills required to handle both internal and external stakeholders
  • Detailoriented with the ability to work independently with competing priorities in a fastpaced environment
  • Experience with client data systems and processes is preferred
  • University Degree
