    What you'll do

    The primary focus will be to work with cross functional stakeholders including Logistics, Distribution, Transportation, IT and Merchandising to gather, interpret, and use complex data to analyze and document current state processes, identify and deliver process improvement initiatives across a number of workstreams including network and capacity planning, working with suppliers, inbound product flow, outbound product flow and improving efficiencies at retail. The candidate will be involved in all phases of the development of business solutions - from analysis and design through to implementation.

    • Contributes to initial investigation and documentation of business
    • Create weekly or monthly reporting processes
    • Performs analysis of business requirements
    • Provides input and recommendations on business processes and/or technical issues
    • Contributes to identification, analysis, and recommendation of solutions (systems and process)
    • Works with business partners and to construct, test and implement solutions
    • Prepares presentations on projects and activities

    What you bring

    • Experience in Logistics, Transportation, Distribution and/or Merchandising
    • Adept at developing tools and doing data analysis using Microsoft Access, Excel (Hadoop, SQL an asset)
    • Experience with Microsoft Visio
    • The candidate must have exceptional analytical, communication and collaboration skills
    • Experience with some of the CTC information technology tools
    • A desire to learn more about the Supply Chain and business processes across other banners
    • At least 2 years of supply chain experience.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Team player with a strong customer focus
    • Experience in project management methodologies and techniques is preferred
    • Experience with Lean methodologies is preferred
    • Degree in Business, Engineering or Logistics
