- Hands-on involvement in various operational aspects, including purchase orders, shipping, and collaboration with supervisors and hourly personnel.
- Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and performance management, fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Oversee budget preparation, control planned output, and analyze key performance indicators for continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to company practices, policies, safety standards, and collective agreements.
- Minimum 10 years of previous management experience in a manufacturing environment with proven leadership abilities.
- Proficiency with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
- Solid knowledge of customer service, quality forecasting, budgeting, and performance management systems.
- Goal-oriented with the ability to execute strategies based on corporate objectives.
- Effective presentation skills for communication with employees and Senior Management.
- Integrity in a fast-paced, demanding role with active management and quick response to plant issues.
- Bilingualism is considered an asset.
