Administrative Assistant (Insurance) - Halifax, NS

Billyard Insurance Group is looking for administrative assistant to support our growing brokerage. Our administrative assistant position requires a relationship-oriented individual with strong organizational and analytical skills. You will need to be comfortable in a customer facing role with an emphasis on telephone and computer skills


Responsibilities:


  • Being clients' first point of contact, and direct clients to proper staff;
  • Facilitating meetings andknowing how to understanding clients' need;
  • Collecting information &material from clients, and keep confidential;
  • Support the sales and customer service team while providing a superior level of service
  • Administer, support and complete policy changes within our company partner's portals and websites
  • Contributing to company's business development and marketing strategy;
  • Adhere to the underwriting criteria set out by our broker partners
  • If you enjoy occasionally selling policies we do not remove this function, but encourage you to do so
  • Supervising all office needs, including bank deposit, supply purchases etc.;
  • Other duties that may be assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Mandarin & Cantonese speaking is preferred
