Description
Job Title: Mine Engineering Co-op Students at Lake Shore Gold
Lake Shore Gold, a subsidiary of Pan American Silver, is situated in Timmins, Ontario, and operates the Bell Creek Complex as well as the Timmins West mine, which are part of the prolific gold camps in the region. The mining operations employ modern techniques to extract ore associated with mineralization along fault systems within the Abitibi greenstone belt. The company offers a unique opportunity for (4) 2nd, 3rd, or 4th-year Mine Engineering Co-op Students to join their team in Timmins, Ontario, from May 2024 to August 2025.
Responsibilities:
This role entails relocation to Timmins, with flexible work schedules either Monday-Friday, 8 hours a day, or 4 days on/3 days off, 10-hour shifts.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be enrolled in a mineral/mining engineering program, uphold safety standards and codes of conduct, and have access to transportation. The company provides living arrangements for successful candidates.
