Reporting to the Technical Services Operations Manager, the Technical Services Coordinator's role will be to plan, direct and coordinate operational and project-based activities from inquiry to project closeout primarily in an office setting, but also occasionally to provide project support at a field level.
What You will Be Working On- Review drawings, gather project information, study specifications, and interpret technical documentation to create project estimates, schedules, and proposals for commissioning and start-up.- Provide commercial support, such as with regards to reviewing contracts, billing, invoicing, change orders, processing PO's and reporting on financials etc.- Enter and update project information in our financial database.- Learn Bird's quality systems and business methodologies.- Interface with customers and work on business development.- Schedule resources, purchase materials, coordinate site project activities.- Knowledge and experience of installation and pre-commissioning of high voltage equipment.- Knowledge and experience of commissioning and testing of all types of equipment systems.- Knowledge and experience to analyze test reports and recommend corrective actions.- Knowledge and experience to calibrate electronic equipment and instruments, when needed.
